American Character 11.5" Tiny Tears 1959-1961

Description

11.5" Tiny Tears has a hard plastic head, vinyl body, and rooted saran hair inset in a rubber skull cap.
She has blue rock-a-bye eyes with inset lashes.  Right eye is missing a few lashes in the middle.
She is jointed at the neck, shoulders, and hips.
She has a hole in the mouth for a bottle and a hole in her backside for wetting.
Tiny holes close to each inner eye are supposed to allow her to cry.
She is wearing a blue and white check sun suit, a matching cover-up, and a matching bonnet that ties at the neck.
Marked American Character on the back of the head.
