    Description

    This is an early apothecary box.  It has missing brass trim and has other losses to the outside but presents very well.  The dimensions are  5 1/2 inches wide across the front  and 3 1/2 inches deep, to the back.   The height is 4 1/2 inches.   The inside has remains of cotton batting and is lined in an old paper.    The hinge looks original and is in great shape.
