Antique Brass Apothecary Mortar and Pestle pre 1900. I obtained this from a closed pharmacy in the 1960's while going through crates in it's basement. I also found pharmacy records prior to World War One. Therefore this mortar was stored in a crate with other items from this time when the pharmacy had been opened previously. It weighs 6 lbs. It's height is 6 inches , top diameter is 6 1/4 inches. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
