Description

Offered is this very old solid brass mortar and pestle.   I'm told its over 100 years old.
It stands approximately 4 1/2" in height and it 7" handle to handle at the top.  The pestle is also solid brass and is 8 1/2".  This is/was well used with lots of dents on the pestle.  Looks like previous owner might have clear coated both to preserve the natural brass tone.
This item is very heavy.
