This is one of the accumulated items that I am in the process of putting back into circulation after a long sojourn in my basement.  Acquired when new and sitting quietly in a box since that time.  Item is in like new condition, not exposed to the sun, in a smoke free home.  Wife says to sell them or take to the dump!

Before the blood pressure pill went generic, and before the pharmaceutical houses stopped distributing promotional items, Baltimore Oriole Hall of Famer Cal Ripken, Jr., was the celebrity face for Prinivil, a common blood pressure medication.  This item is a set of two ball point pens in a wooden presentation box, commemorating Ripken's 400 home run record on September 22, 1999 and 3,000 Base Hit record on April 15, 2000. The pens remain in original wrappers.  Complete in original box with original paperwork, this would be a fine addition to any Ripken collection.
