You are bidding on this Pair of Vintage Circa 1950s-1960s Apothecary Jars Designed by Jeanne Robinette of California, The Jars are Ceramic Pottery and the one with the lid in place measures about 11" high. The jars are marked Lactuca Sativa and Avena Sativa. The one lid is interchangeable for the two jars. The lactuca jar has a 2 1/2" tight hairline crack somewhat hidden in the crazing-the avena jar has a couple of pinhead size micro-chips on the top rim. The is no wear to the decoration or the gold trim-there is some light crazing in the clear glaze on all three pieces.
