    Rare Korean Early 1900 Low Rectangular Table "GangWonBan" Personal Dining Table with Hand Painted Chinese Character Good Fortune, 2 Korean Peppers ( often used as symbol for a boy) and a Shrimp
    .
    This table was most likely a gift to a newly wed couple or to a mother with a newborn son.
    Kept in storage for over 50 years.
    The porcelains in the photos are NOT included in the sale.
    Age: First quarter of 20th century
    Provenance: Private collection from South Korea, brought to the U.S. in the early 80's. Part of large private collection of Korean furniture purchased during missionary mission in Korea from 1940's to early 1980's.
    This item was stored in a storage since early 1980 so they are not always in clean. It's been collecting dust but I did clean up as much as possible without damaging the item.
    Item is in good condition overall with wear, loss of lacquer, tear, discoloration, smudges and loss of wood.
