    Small Antique Non Ferrous Mortar and Pestle With Under Plate Cup
    The mortar is about 2 inches tall and weighs 4.7 ounces. It's non-ferrous. Possibly lead, brass or bronze?
    The is a stamped mark/signature on the bottom of the pestle that I can not make out. Its very faint but is inside the circular mark seen in one picture.
    The pestle is about 3.5 inches long.
    This item was acquired at an estate auction. I would appreciate any information that would help identify the origin or original use of this item.
