Vintage Carved Cameo Shell Pendant in Unusual Pierced Frame Setting on Chain
This is an older piece – my guess is at least the 1940’s but probably before that.
Measures approx.. 1-1/2” x 1-1/4” overall. The cameo – 1” x ¾”.
Very good condition including the metal
The cameo is carved -cream on pale tan
The frame setting is very unusual – has pierced work.
The chain is marked gold filled and was added.
Note:  there is a small area of darkness on the chain - see picture
The cameo frame metal is not marked and not tested – some sort of gold tone metal. - maybe gold plated
