Vintage MERCK & CO MORPHINE SULFATE EMPTY AMBER BOTTLE

Description

Vintage MORPHINE SULFATE AMBER BOTTLE.
The bottle measures 5" to the top of the lid. It is obviously empty but once contained small 1 oz cubes. The paper label shows moderate wearing, scuffing and staining along with some edge damage. There are numerous areas of what appears to be remnants of adhesive tape which goes from the bottle and across the lid. There is an added adhesive label from Frank E. Morgan & Sons which was an old drug store in Philadelphia. There are dates from 1968 and 1977 on it. Even two parts of the original tax stamp are evident!
